Adopt-a-Highway is a Michigan Department of Transportation program designed to help keep the state’s roadsides clean and attractive. DENSO Manufacturing Michigan is responsible for a four-mile stretch of M-37, a state highway near the Battle Creek facility.

The Best of Two Cultures

To help bridge the gap between American and Japanese employees, DENSO Manufacturing Michigan (DMMI) has developed a culture and language training program. The goal: to blend the best of our two cultures — American and Japanese—to make DMMI a stronger company. Assignments range from learning calligraphy to interviewing Japanese staff to uncover different elements of business and culture.
