Employees from DENSO International America have been involved with mentoring students in the FIRST Robotics Competition since 1999. DENSO mentors help students understand what it takes to be successful in competition and in life.
Teams that demonstrate teamwork, creativity, human development, sportsmanship and other positive qualities are recognized for their accomplishments. In fact, FIRST’s most prestigious award does not always go to the team with the most victories, but to the team that best represents “the spirit of FIRST,” a model for others to emulate.
