The DENSO North America Foundation contributes financial support to senior engineers at Lawrence Technological University who compete in the Formula SAE project, where students design, build and race Formula One style cars.

Every year, DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee (DMTN) participates in the annual Kramer Leadership Camp and Youth Congress. In 2012, DMTN sponsored a 12-hour student training for girls that included a gift shopping experience as a way to display gratitude to someone each girl wanted to honor, as well as a luncheon and interview session in Knoxville with the city’s first woman mayor, Madeline Rogero.
